Antique Micro Beaded Purse

We have had quite a few antique purses on Ebay. Some are exceptional pieces that have something special about them. This particular purse has a scene with people in it. It has only been listed for a few hours and has gotten more attention than any other purse to date. Can't wait to see what happens with this one!

Grandmas are the best!

She is quiet feisty. She is mischievous and playful. She made the best Mexican food ever. Today, we celebrate our Abuelita as she turns 88. Thankful that she is still here for us to enjoy!

Patchwork Show - Sunday November 9th

Patchwork is a unique event showcasing emerging crafters, delicious food and local music. Some items include: home goods, accessories, affordable artworks of all kinds... Patchwork is in the Santa Ana Museum District. More info can be found here!

Olivenhain Arts & Crafts Fair

Olivenhain is hosting it's annual arts and crafts fair this Saturday, November 8th! Olivenhain is a beautiful rural equestrian community within Encinitas. The fair includes about 80 vendors and is amidst the trees surrounding the historical Old Meeting Hall at Rancho Santa Fe Road and 7th Street. Admission is free and there is plenty of parking! The fair runs from 9 am to 4 pm.

Felt Butterfly Brooches and Ponies

A childhood friend was expecting a little girl. She was decorating her nursery in brown and pink and really liked Graco's Cherry Blossom line. I made her a super cute pink cotton baseball hat with a butterfly brooch to match the Cherry Blossom line. I made a few more brooches and some ponytail holders while I was at it.
